This recipe is heavily adapted from one by Geoffrey Zakarian, an Iron Chef for Food Network. It contains a few more ingredients than most of my Weekend Indulgence recipes, but it’s worth it. Since you probably already have all of the ingredients at home, go ahead and set out your butter to come to room temperature right now, and you’ll be ready to mix up a batch of Hot Buttered Rum with Ginger to keep you warm during these long, cold winter nights!
